Maryam Gueye is a multidisciplinary writer. Her work primarily intersects poetry, fashion and photography to explore the sensitivities of the ephemeral yet eternal nature of memory and desire. She is a recent graduate of Creative Writing from The New School and was a part of the Writing and Democracy Honors program where she further developed her voice, writing and art-making. Her inspirations include contemporary artists and designers who are poetically rooted and who create visual poetry with their work.
